ylw-text.gif Just after sunset, there's still a little light in the sky, which can be seen in the blue-ish tones at the top of this scene of the San Rafael Bridge in Marin County, California. The ambient light allowed for a 30 second shutter speed at f3.5 @ 28mm. By avoiding exposures of several minutes, Velvia didn't need a filter to compensate for reciprocity failure. Also, the clouds' movements are minimized, allowing detail to be captured without motion blur.
