High Contrast B&W The main goal of this picture is to emphasize the weighty, heavy metal construction of the bridge. The high contrast treatment helps underscore the bridge's strength, and the grittiness of its parts suggests its industrial roots... all in contrast to its overall beauty, which is retained by the tower in the background on the left. Unlike the other pictures, high contrast is the goal here, so the red filter is used as well as the polarizer to make sure reflected light does not bleed into the darker areas of the image. The lens is 17mm, f/3.5 at 4 seconds.
